Do your Christmas shopping early while also supporting women micro-entrepreneurs in this 2-day bazaar happening this week.
WISE Bazaar Year 2, set on September 5 and 6 at the outdoor area of Market! Market! mall in Taguig City, will showcase 30 Pinay-led businesses that carry various lifestyle products.
The event is named after the Women's Initiative for Sustainable Enterprises (WISE), a flagship program of Bayan Academy designed to equip female entrepreneurs through training and networking opportunities.
"The WISE Bazaar is more than just an opportunity for early holiday shopping, it is a platform to honor and support women entrepreneurs whose creativity, perseverance, and enterprises uplift entire communities," Bayan Academy executive director Luke Orbos said in a statement.
"Every purchase made here is an investment in their dreams and a contribution to inclusive growth. By standing behind these women, we help strengthen the economy, promote sustainable enterprises, and build a future where prosperity is shared by all," he added.
Among the featured women-led businesses in WISE Bazaar Year 2 are Heritage Finds, which feature apparel made in weaving and artisan communities in the Philippines; Blessed Pamana Food Inc., which produces pasalubong favorites such as peanut butter; and Flowertale Gift Shop, which specializes in floral arrangements.
"The WISE Bazaar is proof that when women are given the right tools and opportunities, they can create enterprises that are both profitable and purposeful," Orbos said.
More details about the event are available on the social media pages of Bayan Academy.
