Now in its 11th year, the BPI Sinag 2025 Social Entrepreneurship Challenge is officially open with a new theme—BPI Sinag In Focus 2025! We’re calling all visionary entrepreneurs who are ready to elevate their mission-driven businesses. This year’s program offers stronger, more focused support to help social enterprises thrive in today’s evolving business landscape, while driving lasting and inclusive change.

Who can join the BPI Sinag In Focus Social Entreprenuer Business Challange?
This program is designed for social entrepreneurs leading enterprises with sustainable business models that tackle pressing social and environmental challenges—especially in the fields of agribusiness, education, health, energy, technology, and other marginalized or underserved sectors across the Philippines. The focus continues to be on business resilience and long-term impact.
A. For Social Entrepreneurs:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be the owner or manager of a registered startup enterprise and must be involved in the business operations for at least six months
- Must be willing to undergo and complete the online bootcamps to qualify in the business pitch and access to the grant.
- Must register as a member of the Sinag SE Registry Page on Facebook at http://bit.ly/JoinTheSinagSocialHUB.
- If selected as top winners, the SE owner and the enterprise must comply with the Tripartite Agreement with Bayan Academy and BPI Foundation to release the cash grant
B. For the Social Enterprise:
- Must be located, addressed in the target regions 4A (CALABARZON), 7 (Central Visayas), or 12 (SOCCSKSARGEN)
- The type of ownership may be a single proprietorship, partnership or corporation.
- Submit a copy of proof of registration (permits, SEC, DTI registration, provision of official receipts, other regulatory bodies)
- Not a previous Top 10 BPI Sinag SE Challenge Winner. Previous non-winners of the BPI Sinag Applicants can join
- Latest Financial Statement of the social enterprise (preferably audited financial statements if available).
- Supporting documents that show the enterprise’s products/services and provide a background of the business.
- The social enterprise or business must address a specific social issue/problem and have a defined social impact in fields like Agriculture (agribusiness and agroindustry), Healthcare, Education, Energy, Technology, and other fields included in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
- Must have a valid bank account associated with the social enterprise and not a personal account of the social entrepreneur.
- Must have an official receipt/sales invoice from the social enterprise.
- If selected as top winners, the enterprise must comply with the Tripartite Agreement with Bayan Academy and BPI Foundation for the release of the cash grant.
